Let us change the world some other day. For now we shall try to meet the basic needs at least for a few.
Today (06/12/18) organizing the “Sweater Distribution Program”, we from Xondhan Foundation gifted sweaters to 47 kids of Lalmati Bageswari L.P. school, Abhayapuri and also distributed fruits & sweets. Their happy faces made our day.
We specially want to thank Dr. Khanindra Pathak (HoD, Mining Dept, IIT Kharagpur, and Independent Director of Coal India Ltd) for donating the sweaters.
To all other people who supported us- Amar Maske (Pune), Avinash (Delhi) and Bipul, Hemanta, Rahul, Arup (Abhayapuri), the generous support of individuals like you makes it possible for our organisation to exist.
We thought 100 times of postponing this event as we had lost one of our advisor Dr. Maitreyee Dutta (renowned Psychologist and writer) last night. Despite immense grief we decided to conduct this program as we never wanted to let this iron lady down. This event is a small tribute to her departed soul.
Rest In peace Dr. Maitreyee Dutta. You will always be in our hearts.
