Mission: Our mission is to ensure access to equal and quality education, economic opportunities, diverse livelihoods, and basic facilities necessary for a dignified life, even in the face of disasters, for all the underserved communities of Assam.
Vision: To enable the marginalized and vulnerable communities of Assam in becoming resilient, self-sufficient, and empowered.
Values: Xondhan Foundation values integrity and equity in all community-centric work, transparency, and accountability in operations, and most importantly, society-driven ownership and action.
Aim and objectives:
- Ensuring access to educational resources and co-curricular activities for vulnerable children living in disaster-prone areas by building smart learning centres in flood-affected villages and rural schools.
- Fostering equity and climate resilience, environmental consciousness, and collective action among marginalized children and their communities through climate education, disaster preparedness and adaptation, leadership development and life skills-based learning.
- Strengthening social cohesion, cultural identity and pride, and traditional knowledge systems of villages in Assam, through community-driven livelihood initiatives.
