Project Gyanam | Setting Up Library in Schools

Project Gyanam launched in 2019, is a venture to reach out to the schools of Assam which are under-equipped and are in need of assistance in improving their standards of teaching-learning. The first step towards the accomplishment of its goal is by setting up libraries in those schools in Assam which are yet to build one of their own and providing the students with the basic amenities for learning. This organization aims to foster the need for spreading knowledge in all the regions of Assam which have still not been exposed to a proper environment of learning. It is surprising that there are so many places where a full education with the abundant supply of books is still a dream that is yet to be realized. Project Gyanam, setting up library in schools, is one small step to realizing that dream.

VISION: Project Gyanam (Setting up library in schools) envisions reaching out to all the schools in Assam which are in want of assistance in developing their overall pedagogical environment so that the young students get the privilege of proper learning that they deserve.

MISSION: To build libraries in the under-developed schools of rural Assam and to make available books and other required utilities of education which are otherwise out of their reach. It aspires to give those schools proper learning experience, not only through book-learning methods but also through excursions and other educational activities. The project aims to accomplish its goals through a well planned and strategic approach which is conducive to the development of education in the underprivileged region of the state.
